Dimapur, August 4 (MExN): The Dimapur branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) has constituted a new executive committee for the 2026-27 session and resolved to expand its presence in Nagaland by opening branches in Kohima and Chümoukedima. The decisions were taken during the branch's general meeting, where members reviewed the activities of the outgoing committee and discussed the organisation's roadmap for the coming year. The meeting considered the annual report for the 2025-26 session, dissolved the outgoing executive committee and unanimously approved the formation of a new executive committee, which subsequently received approval from the Regional Office on August 4. Members appreciated the efforts of the outgoing committee in promoting the objectives of the organisation. The meeting also inducted 30 executive members who have been assigned various projects and community service activities for the 2026-27 session.
