Concurrently, a seven-member Search Committee was nominated to facilitate the restructuring process and nominate a new Executive Council. The Committee, to be convened by former Naga Hoho President Chuba Ozukum, includes Lorho (President, UNC), Tonyho Sumi, Ningthoudai Gonmei (President, ZB), and Wairok Hangsing (President, Maring Tribe Hoho/MUA) as members. The House expressed its collective hope that the restructuring would strengthen the Naga Hoho and foster unity, coordination, and effective leadership for the welfare of the Naga people. To ensure the smooth functioning of the office, the House endorsed the United Naga Council (UNC) to nominate and fill the vacant post at the earliest. The Naga Hoho has appealed for the support and cooperation of all Naga people as it undertakes this process of renewal and strengthening of its apex body.
