Security personnel barred several people carrying rainbow flags from entering the Europa Passage shopping mall during Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Hamburg. The security firm reportedly refused entry at two entrances or asked attendees to roll up their flags, according to a police spokesperson. Officers intervened, and, according to the police, the security staff subsequently changed their behavior. The police had no immediate information on how many people were turned away as of Sunday. The Europa Passage center management did not respond to a request for comment at first: management was unavailable outside business hours over the weekend.
