Donations to Boulder Parks and Recreation’s official non-profit partner, PLAY Boulder Foundation, are strongly encouraged upon pickup. Additional information on participating businesses, including distribution hours and availability, can be found on Downtown Boulder Partnership’s webpage. Tulips became a Pearl Street Mall spring staple in the late 1970s, with the tradition growing to around 12,000 tulip bulbs a year imported directly from Holland to be enjoyed by community members and visitors alike. The twentieth celebration comes a year out from the Mall’s 50th Anniversary celebration scheduled for 2027.
