BUCKHANNON -- An Upshur County man is facing a felony charge after allegedly punching a healthcare worker and threatening to kill her. Leon Devale McDonald Jr., 35, is charged with one count of battery and assault on a healthcare worker, a felony. Upon arrival, Frazier spoke with the alleged victim, who is a healthcare worker for ResCare Community Living, the complaint states. The alleged victim further stated that McDonald allegedly started screaming and said he was “going to kill her,” according to the complaint. Frazier wrote in the complaint that the alleged victim’s injuries were consistent with her timeline of events.
