The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle crash this evening (Aug. 4) that resulted in one fatality. The crash occurred around 7 p.m. in the 24000 block of West River Road in Middleton Township. The investigation reportedly showed that a 2012 Harley Street Glide motorcycle was traveling southwest while attempting to negotiate a curve, and traveled off the roadway. Assisting at the scene were Middleton Township Fire and EMS, Perrysburg Fire, Perrysburg Police, and Bargain Tire and Auto. The crash is still under investigation.
