Barrel House, an Iowa-based restaurant chain, is preparing to open its first local location in the former 101 Crafthouse space in Stonehenge Village Shopping Center in Midlothian. The group had a chance to check out one of the Barrel House locations in the Midwest and were drawn in. Craft beer is also an emphasis for Barrel House, as Joshi said it’ll have over 100 beers on tap. Joshi said his group is hoping to have Barrel House open in November or December, with a staff of about 20. The Midlothian spot will be the eighth Barrel House location.
