Pantoro Gold has confirmed the continuity of high-grade mineralisation at its Racetrack discovery in Western Australia, with infill drilling returning some of the strongest grades and widths recorded since exploration resumed at Norseman in 2019.
The standout intercept returned 4.94m at 349.14 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 603.02m, including 0.91m at 1737.37g/t from the same depth and 0.43m at 80.67g/t from 607.53m.
Pantoro managing director Paul Cmrlec said the results demonstrated the emerging scale and grade of the Racetrack structure.
“Racetrack is shaping up as a very high-grade structure with some of the widest intercepts we have seen at Norseman to date,” he said.
Racetrack forms part of Pantoro’s wholly owned Norseman gold project, which hosts a total Mineral Resource of 4.6 million ounces and Ore Reserves of 859,000 ounces.
