Chennai: Avadi police have seized 200 kilograms of banned gutka products brought through a parcel services company at Ambattur and arrested two persons. A police team headed by Ramesh raided a godown belonging to parcel service company Kavi Logistics at Pattaravakkam in Ambattur based on information that they had been peddling banned gutkha products. The police found gutkha weighing 200 kilograms in six parcels. The police seized the banned substance and arrested Suresh (30) and Thyagu (31). They confessed that they had been bringing the gutkha products from Andhra Pradesh and selling them in Ambattur.
