Deb Knight today presented a Nine News morning bulletin which was a live bulletin using cloud-based news production and curation technologies. Port of a network ‘Future News’ transformation program, this was produced and aired via storycentric newsroom control and rundown system, Saga, and Mimir, a central cloud media collaboration and asset management platform. Nine is the first Australian newsroom to utilise this technology combination, built bespoke for the network under Executive Director News & Current Affairs, Fiona Dear.
