Driver Dies After SUV Crashes Into Tree Off I-26 Exit Ramp In...BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — A driver died Tuesday afternoon after an SUV left Interstate 26 in Berkeley County, ran off an exit ramp and crashed into a tree, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The single-vehicle crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on Interstate 26 westbound near the 197-mile marker, Master Trooper William H.
