WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — Fayette County commissioners voted May 18 to award a $249,971 contract to King Development LTD of Findlay for Phase B of the county’s Construction and Demolition Debris Landfill Expansion, keeping the project well under the engineer’s estimate.
Commissioners accepted the low bid on the recommendation of County Engineer Jason Little after two bids were opened during the meeting.
They also approved a $5,000 addendum to an existing consulting contract with Burgess & Niple Inc. to cover additional engineering work tied to the expansion, according to the county.
Commissioners separately voted to forgive $4,850 owed to Fayette County by Washington Court House resident Lori Rinehart under the county’s CHIP home rehabilitation program.
