WAVERLY, Ohio — The Waverly City Schools Board of Education has voted to place a new operating levy on the November ballot, months after voters rejected a similar request in the May election. The new proposal is a 0.5% traditional income tax for five years, a lower rate than the levy voters defeated in the spring, according to the district.
