HILLSBORO, Ohio — A Hoxworth Blood Center donor bus will park outside the Highland County Health Department on Friday, giving area residents two windows to donate and help supply blood to hospitals across the region. UPDATE (Aug. 6, 12 p.m.): This story has been updated with additional information from the Highland County Health Department. The bus will be stationed at the health department, 1487 N. High St., from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and again from 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., the health department said in a Facebook post. Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled online or by phone, though the health department said donors may also be accommodated without one.
