I turned every old speaker in my house into one perfectly synced sound system

I have always liked the idea of a whole-home audio system, but it usually means investing in an expensive ecosystem, such as a multi-speaker Sonos setup. This open-source multi-room audio system distributes music from one source across multiple perfectly synced devices, and after some tinkering, I achieved exactly that. In another room, an old Android phone became my second Snapclient, with an equally antiquated Bluetooth speaker connected to it. My iPad, MacBook, audio interface, studio monitors, Android phone, and old Bluetooth speaker all ended up participating in the same audio chain. An old phone and Bluetooth speaker could sit alongside my Mac, audio interface, and studio monitors as part of the same multi-room setup.
