Supporters of Amendment 4 and 5 voice disappointment after both ballot measures fail to pass

Dennis Ganahl, with MO Tax Relief -- a group backing the ballot measure -- shared his disappoint over the failure to pass.
As lawmakers would eliminate the state's income tax, they would increase the state's sales and use tax rates.
Bozarth said the amendment will especially add guardrails into place when lawmakers try and change the state constitution.
"It shouldn't be easy to amend a state constitution," Bozarth said.
"Right now, Missouri state constitution has 126 amendments and is over 200 pages long.
