Hisense is preparing to expand its premium projector range with the PX4 Pro, an ultra-short-throw 4K model featuring upgraded brightness, gaming technology and audio tuned by French hi-fi brand Devialet. Hisense has also replaced the PX3-Pro’s Harman Kardon-tuned speakers with a six-speaker, 66W Dolby Atmos system tuned by high-end audio company Devialet. The PX3-Pro was described as the world’s first “Designed for Xbox ultra short throw projector” and that gaming emphasis continues with the PX4 Pro. It supports variable refresh rates, Dolby Vision Gaming and input latency as low as 1ms when running at 2K resolution and 240Hz. A future update to Hisense’s VIDAA smart platform will also add Xbox Cloud Gaming.
