Aug 04, 2026Brian CadleSmithville continues to grow as a hub for Upper Cumberland youth tennis programs, with approximately 50 junior players participating in the Junior Team Tennis (JTT) program this summer. Junior Team Tennis is part of the United States Tennis Association’s national youth tennis program. The Smithville program, coordinated and run by DCHS head tennis coach Brian Cadle, offers players ten summer practices with drills and instruction, followed by four match days. “Coaching JTT this summer was a great experience that helped develop my game and our DeKalb County tennis program. The 14U will compete on August 15th, and the 10U players will play on August 22nd.
