The Danish Seamen’s Church in Singapore will open the doors to its historic Golden Bell Mansion for a special guided tour on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
Organised together with the Royal Geographical Society – Singapore, the event will explore the history of the mansion on Mount Faber and its transformation into a gathering place for Singapore’s Danish community.
The tour will be led by Roney Tan, the great-great-grandson of prominent Singaporean philanthropist Tan Tock Seng.
Today, the historic building at 10 Pender Road is home to the Danish Seamen’s Church, which serves as a church and cultural meeting place for Danes and other Scandinavians in Singapore.
Danish refreshments will be served before and after the tour.
