Shortly after his debut, Danhausen emerged as one of the most popular Superstars on the roster and a merch mover. Just months after his WWE debut, Danhausen found himself competing and winning at the SummerSlam PLE. Recently speaking on Busted Open, Kit Wilson addressed how some people backstage were not fond of Danhausen’s debut taking place on a PLE and taking away a spot from that show. “Absolutely not,” Wilson responded when asked about if he ever expected Danhausen’s quick rise in WWE.
