The popular vegan soft-serve ice cream shop, Cold Truth, will close its shop at 4240 Cass Ave., Ste. For seven years, Cold Truth has been renting the Cass Ave. building on a month-to-month agreement, instead of through a lease. Melanie A. Markowicz, executive director at Midtown Detroit Inc, said her organization is working to assist. "Midtown Detroit is in contact with the business owners to try to find a landing ground for them," Markowicz said. The other two Cold Truth locations in Ann Arbor and Ferndale will remain open.
