Metro Detroit will host the 2026 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships in August. "Downtown Disc Golf" happens Monday, Aug. 26 from noon to 6 p.m. throughout Eastern Market in Detroit. Ledgestone, a disc golf company, is organizing it with the PDGA Worlds and Meantime on Cass, a Midtown Detroit bar. The 9-basket course snakes through the market district before ending at Eastern Market Brewing Company. Full Measure Brewing will participate, along with Eastern Market Brewing Company, Detroit City Distillery, Wabisabi Clothing Consignment, Aunt Nee's Chips and Salsa, Pietrzyk Pierogi, and Casamara Club Sodas.
