The Royal Hotel Clifton Hill, which dates back to 1889, has hit the market for the first time in about 40 years, almost a decade after the front bar called last drinks.
Now, almost 10 years after the venue shut its doors, the Gudic family has put the venue on the market.
The hotel occupies a prominent 736 square metre corner site in Melbourne’s inner north, and is expected to garner interest from hospitality operators and pub groups.
“The Royal Hotel provides a strong platform for an incoming operator to create a destination venue within one of Melbourne’s most recognised inner-city precincts,” said Soccio.
