(Lavaca County Sheriff’s Department)HALLETTSVILLE — Two former Lavaca County Jail inmates have been charged with felony offenses as part of an ongoing investigation into the introduction of contraband into the facility, the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office announced. A Lavaca County justice of the peace issued arrest warrants Monday for Tyler Lee Miller and Brandon Scott Dearson after reviewing information and evidence presented by a sheriff’s office investigator. According to the sheriff’s office, Miller and Dearson were previously incarcerated at the Lavaca County Jail on unrelated felony charges.
