— The Casper City Council moved forward with a pair of infrastructure improvement projects at its Tuesday meeting, approving contracts for upgrades to the city water system and downtown paving. The council contracted with Casper-based Ramshorn Construction for priority water main improvements. Including a $300,000 construction contingency, the total project budget for the water main improvements is set at $2,774,411.50. In other business, the council authorized a $256,375 agreement with Falcon Construction for paving improvements in downtown Casper. This paving effort will be funded through One Cent #17 revenues specifically allocated for street improvements.
