Gray was promoted from the Angels rookie league team in Arizona to the Class A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League. Gray pitched in eight games in Arizona and had a 2-1 record. The eye-catching stat for him was 38 strikeouts in 26.1 innings. Gray, 19, is a hard-throwing right-hander (6-2, 205) who was signed out of high school by the Angels as a fifth-round pick in 2025.
