Special to IFNRising high school upperclassmen from across Iredell County and the region recently participated in the Rotary Youth Leadership Adventure (RYLA) at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs. RYLA is an intensive 4-day leadership training program and camp sponsored by 27 District 7680 Rotary Clubs. Participants learned about the Rotary Four-Way Test, Interact Club, and Rotary Youth Exchange. Top of the Lake Rotary provided scholarships to four students from Lake Norman High School, Mooresville High School, and South Iredell High School. Top of the Lake Rotarians Brent Goddard and Boen Nutting led mentor groups on the campus at Gardner-Webb University.
