Family-Owned Damon's Celebrates 75 Years in Augusta
['Allyssa Marson']
B98.5 – Central Maine\'s Country – Augusta/Waterville Country Radio
For 75 years, Damon's Pizza & Italians has been more than just a place to grab a slice or an Italian sandwich, it's been a cornerstone of Maine's capital city.
Since opening its doors in 1950, generations of Augusta families have made Damon’s part of their traditions, whether it was a Friday night pizza, a favorite Italian, or a stop back home during a visit.
A Taste of NostalgiaIf you grew up in Augusta, chances are you remember the city's very first pizza shop.
For many former Augusta residents, a trip back home isn't complete without a stop at Damon's.
Like so many people in the Augusta area, I have memories that go far beyond the food.
