– As scams become more and more common both locally and nationally, residents should remain vigilant to avoid having their money or indentities stolen. Added to the growing list of scams is a new one being reported out of Salem, Missouri. The City of Salem announced on Friday that residents were receiving e-mails that claimed to be from the mayor with an attachment labeled “Ann­ual Spe­cial R­ep­ort – City of Salem 2­02­6”.
