Warren Central’s volleyball team followed up a woeful weekend with a terrific Tuesday. KeKe McKay scored 19 points and served 10 aces, and Warren Central shook off four losses at the season-opening Mississippi Volleyball Invitational by clobbering Vicksburg High 3-0 (25-8, 25-7, 25-4) on Tuesday. Warren Central lost its first four matches at the season-opening tournament in Jackson before beating Callaway 2-0 in its finale. The Lady Vikes scored several consecutive points to get the lead, then had a 14-1 run mid-game en route to a 25-7 win. In the third game they jumped to a 10-1 lead and scored the last six points to win 20-4.
