A new car wash is coming to Northport later this month, and its grand opening weekend will raise money for an Alabama nonprofit serving disaster survivors and homeless veterans. New Day Car Wash will celebrate the opening of its new location at 6201 McFarland Boulevard with a four-day event from Thursday, August 20, through Sunday, the 23rd. "Our goal is to celebrate becoming part of the Northport community while giving back to an organization that is making a real difference in people's lives," said Winslow Barrett, General Manager of New Day Car Wash. "We invite everyone to come out, enjoy the festivities, receive a great car wash, and help support High Socks for Hope."
