Nebraska man sentenced to 10 years in prison for abusive sexual contactOMAHA, Neb. Tyrece D. Thomas, 25, of Macy was sentenced to 10 years in prison for once count of abusive sexual contact. On June 8, 2020, the victim was walking home when Thomas struck her from behind, stealing her phone. On October 4, 2024, over four years later, the FBI lab notified that a match was found for the unknown DNA. The FBI then obtained a search warrant and got a sample of Thomas’ DNA.
