When children hear the gospel early in life, its impact often extends far beyond the individual, influencing entire families and communities. Across the world in 2025, Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) trained more than 619,000 teachers and volunteers to reach children with the gospel. The Christian population expanded dramatically over the 20th century, rising from about 10 million in 1900 to roughly 360 million by 2000. Since then, the Christian population has more than doubled to over 700 million, making sub-Saharan Africa home to the largest Christian population in the world. As children hear and respond to the Gospel, a ripple of change begins.
