For the second straight day, Marion jumped out to an early lead only to watch Youngstown rally. Marion built a 2-0 lead on RBI hits from Carterville’s Haiden Lange and Marion’s Abram Tarlton. Ethan Atkison added another RBI single and two more runs came in via an error as Marion tallied five in the inning. Atkison finished it off with his second scoreless inning of relief as Marion advances to the title game where they will face the winner of the Bronx (NY) or Southern Illinois.
