Incumbent LeQuan Hylton won Tuesday’s Democratic primary special election for the Dale District Board of Supervisors seat with roughly 57% of the vote.
He’ll likely be the winner in Nov. 3’s general election because the local Republican Party didn’t nominate an opponent.
Assuming Hylton does win this November, he’ll hold the position until 2027, when all Board of Supervisors seats are up for election.
Before the Board of Supervisors, Hylton represented the Dale District on Chesterfield’s Planning Commission for six years.
As the father of three daughters, including two public school students, Hylton said his family's experience has shaped his priorities.
