In a market announcement on Wednesday, the company said it had appointed a new CEO, Brian Cohalan, who will start at the end of August. Chief operating officer Stephen Towsen, long rumoured to be on the way out, will exit the business in October, the company said.Gower stood down as chair of WasteCo in July after announcing his departure in June following shareholder pressure over his performance.
