Jimmy-Jay Morgan, Ousmane Diakité and Aune Heggebø each had opportunities that narrowly missed the target before Isaac Price's low drive had Coventry keeper Ben Wilson scrambling across his goal. It came when Morgan latched onto a loose pass and drove forward, sliding his strike under Wilson from 18 yards. Coventry threatened with two more late efforts, but these were both deflected away from danger, ensuring Albion concluded pre-season with a positive result at The Hawthorns.
