Responding to unemployment reaching its highest level in 11 years, Taxpayers’ Union spokesperson Tory Relf said:“Unemployment at an 11-year high is a clear warning that stronger business confidence has yet to translate into jobs, particularly for young New Zealanders.”
The Government must reduce the burden it places on businesses and consumers by cutting wasteful spending, lowering costs and creating the conditions for private-sector growth.”
