Yet fast forward 14 years, Green has a different opinion about what should have happened -- the Wizards should have drafted him. The presence of Green alongside Marcin Gortat and John Wall could have propelled Washington into a similar postseason fate, adding intrigue to what could have been. While Green took Beal's spot in the re-draft, Beal also didn't land far after being picked to go fourth overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
