Gilbert Tinajera, 91, of North Platte passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026 at Great Plains Health. The couple made their home in Abilene before eventually relocating to North Platte, where they continued to build their life together. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, Patsy Tinajera, Melinda (Shannon) Streeter, and Daniel Tinajera, all of North Platte, Jobi (Tom) Arens of Peoria, Ariz., Rhonda (Jacob) Yeagley of Lincoln, and Jason Tinajera of Tempe, Ariz.; as well as his faithful companion, his dog, Pepper.
