University Police Arrest Eureka Man With 40 Grams of Cocaine at Off-Campus Location, According to Officers

The officer contacted the vehicle’s occupant, who was identified as 46-year-old Colin Baldridge of Eureka.
During the contact, the officer determined Baldridge was on felony probation for narcotics sales and subject to a probation search condition requiring him to submit to searches of his person and vehicle.
During the probation search, the officer located approximately 40 grams (about 1½ ounces) of suspected cocaine inside the vehicle.
Officers also located digital scales and packaging materials consistent with the sale of narcotics.
Baldridge was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of narcotics for sale and violation of probation.
