The grounds and gardens are open daily from 8:00 AM to sunset for self-guided visits at no charge. It is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM between October and May, and on weekends only from June through September. Popular trail destinations include the scenic rock pool area and the historic M*A*S*H filming site, both reachable on well-marked paths from the main parking area. The Julian Pie Company is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and serves a rotating selection of pies alongside other baked goods. Mom’s Pie House is another well-regarded spot, open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
