Daniel Island, S.C. - Don Feigert, 77, of Daniel Island, S.C., passed away peacefully at home May 16, 2026, following an extended illness. He transitioned into higher education, serving as Regional Director of Admissions for DeVry University then as Regional Director of Recruitment for ITT Educational Services. He authored four books and was a columnist for The Herald of Sharon and Allied News of Grove City. He leaves his wife, Donna Rae Rutan of Daniel Island; son, Randall Feigert and wife Dawn of Tempe, Ariz.; granddaughter Kori; grandson Zachary and fiancée, Nevaeh Dorsey, and great-granddaughter Alaia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Feigert Sr. and Marguerite (Madden) Feigert of Hermitage, and his brother Bill Feigert Sr. of Sharon.
