A structure fire at the six-story Cherry Creek Towers, 18400 Cherry Creek Drive, was contained to one apartment Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 4, following a coordinated response from multiple fire departments in MABAS Division 24. The fire was on the fifth floor. All residents were safely evacuated from the building and accounted for. There were no fatalities. Four individuals were treated for minor smoke inhalation injuries and transported to a local hospital.
