Read our Privacy noticeA search and rescue operation is under way to find a teenage boy who got into difficulty in the sea off the East Yorkshire coast, police have said.
Police received reports of a concern for the boy’s safety at around 6pm and have since launched an “extensive search and rescue operation” to locate him.
It comes after a 14-year-old boy drowned after going into the water in east London on Monday.
Tuesday’s incident in East Yorkshire occurred less than 20 miles away from where 15-year-old Grace Keeling was swept out to sea in January.
