((Advocate file photo))City of Red Deer is hosting a Greater Downtown engagement session on Aug. 11 as part of a series to get feedback that will help guide decisions on the future of the city’s core. Public input will be used to guide future governance decisions, priorities and opportunities for the Greater Downtown, which includes the core, Capstone and Railyards. Committee members include one councillor, four Greater Downtown business representatives, a representative from a business or economic development organization, a representative from a downtown social agency, and two citizens-at-large with preference that one lives downtown. Space to the Aug. 11 event is limited.
