Bahrain-based fintech Infinios has launched operational stablecoin settlement services in partnership with Mastercard (NYSE:MA), reportedly becoming the first issuer in the Kingdom of Bahrain to do so. He noted that it demonstrates Bahrain’s ongoing leadership in creating digital payment solutions and supporting the broader shift toward digital finance. He highlighted efforts to accelerate the creation of reliable digital settlement infrastructure at an institutional level through collaboration with Infinios. Stablecoin settlement allows participants to clear transactions using digital tokens designed to hold steady value, typically linked to major currencies. The development underscores growing institutional interest in regulated digital assets for practical payment and settlement use cases.
