It is not known how or why a small dog had been abandoned in the rural area to fend for himself. Faith knew the dog needed to be rescued. They set the humane trap, but as they were preparing to spread out treats, the women heard a blood curdling screech from the dog! Rushing over, they saw the coyotes; one of the pack had the little dog in his jaws. The little dog had been left in shock when he was grabbed and quickly dropped, but that didn’t stop him from barking.
