THOMASVILLE — Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics Vice Agents have arrested Leonard Phillip Bryant for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance (Mollie) after he attempted to prevent officers from entering when being served with a search warrant for his home. According to agents, they pulled up to Bryant’s home on Magnolia Street to serve the search warrant and found Bryant sitting on his front porch. After finally detaining Bryant, agents searched the couch cushions and under the couch and could not find what Bryant was reaching for. Agents began to look behind the television, where they also saw Bryant reach when he locked them outside the home. A further search showed the bag the Mollie had been in was over by the couch.
