Tuesday evening, the Joe Burrow Foundation hosted a back to school supply drive for local students at Elite Training Facility in Baton Rouge. The Girl Scouts of Louisiana, the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition, and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank were just a few of the businesses and non-profits in attendance. Elite Training Facility had footballs, tackle dummies, and even a bounce house for students to test out their athletic skills. This is the second year the Joe Burrow Foundation has put on the event. The mission of the non-profit started by former LSU National Champion, and Heisman trophy winning quarterback Joe Burrow is to, “Provide resources and support to the underprivileged and underserved,”.
